English-Medium Studies (ASK program)

Second-cycle students at the Faculty of Architecture are required to present a certificate demonstrating knowledge of English at the C1 Academic level.

  • If you possess one of the certificates listed below, please submit it to the Faculty C1A Coordinator, Adam Stankiewicz, at adam.stankiewicz@pw.edu.pl:

Accepted Certificates:

  • IELTS certificate with a score of 7.5 or above
  • TOEFL certificate with a score between 100 and 120
  • C2 certificates (CPE, TELC) with a passing grade or higher
  • C1 certificates (CAE, TELC) with a grade of B or higher
  • GCE A Levels, including an English grade
  • US High School Diploma or SAT certificate (above the benchmark)
  • IB Diploma

No other language certificates, or scores below the specified ranges, will be accepted.

Students who have certified knowledge of C1 Academic English may proceed to select language courses from the Faculty of Language Center (FLC) offerings (minimum of 30 hours).

  • If you do not hold a C1 English certificate, you are required to enroll in a C1 Academic English course (minimum of 30 hours) and pass the C1 Academic Exam at WUT.

Course offer

Students may choose from: 

  • English Language Courses at a B2+ level and above
  • Other Foreign Language Courses at all levels

All courses are offered by the Foreign Language Centre.
