General Information
- All students must take 150 credit hours of a foreign language before successfully completing their programme of study. Attendance at the first class is obligatory.
- Foreign language courses are incorporated in the model curriculum of studies for semesters 1-5.
- International students may choose courses of Polish or of any other foreign language.

*The Academic Writing Course (EACAW) is strongly recommended to students since the writing skills mastered in it constitute an integral part of the C1 Academic Exam.

*Academic Writing skills, not covered in ELAN 1 and ELAN 2, make an integral part of the C1 Academic Exam. Students are strongly recommended to attend the EACAW Class, which comprises various types of writing tasks, necessary for their university career e.g. graph/table/process descriptions, summaries, letters, reports or essays.
**International students may choose to take Polish courses before the third semester and use the limit of 60 credit hours available to them.
Note!
The Foreign Language Centre does not transfer the credits awarded for the completion of foreign language classes at other faculties of Warsaw University of Technology or other universities. This regulation does not refer to the credits awarded to Erasmus Plus students or the students who return to their studies after a break.
